god, what awesome local radio show talks about Smash Bros. Brawl? I greatly envy you.
That would be the Ultra Mea Awesome Show. They talked about it during their anime and video games segment, which ran kind of long last night. Mostly because they were busy making D&D stat sheets, which is an awesome excuse in my book.

I've decided I can wait for February if it means a custom stage builder.

And I’m happy that this is compatible with SD cards. You don’t have to worry about size, so make as many stages as you like.

Also, if you’ve finished registering someone as both a Wii Friend and a Smash friend, you’ll be able to send custom stages to each other.

Now, for those who hate putting effort into such things, we’ve also prepared something you can enjoy as well.

That’s right! You can use your Wi-Fi connection to send stages you’ve made to Nintendo! (However, you can’t submit repeatedly. Maybe just once per day?)

And a stage selected from the entire daily collection will be sent from Nintendo to your Wii. A stage made by someone else will come to you over the Internet once per day!
SD card compatible. We'll be able to share the custom levels online with people we don't even know.

There will be websites popping up just for the sole purpose of sharing Brawl levels.

I estimate that around 10% of all the levels shared online (maybe even sent to Nintendo and subsequently rejected) are going to be giant, blocky renditions of a penis.

I've been waiting for a stage builder since, like, the original Smash Bros.

    Also, Mario can climb ladders.

Every time I think the online stuff they've mentioned so far is as awesome as it's gonna get, they throw us more and more great tidbits. I'm gonna have a lot of fun with stage-building.

Have you never played Wrecking Crew?
  • edited October 2007
I have. Those silly eggplant men.
  • edited October 2007
I wanna make one that's all spikes, and send it in.
  • edited October 2007
I want to make a level with 2 blocks that move towards, and then away from each other, if that's possible.
  • edited October 2007
Naw, it should be one block! That would own!
  • edited October 2007
I really like the two-block idea. You could play a sweet game of Chicken.

That was an awesome video today. Diddy Kong + StarFox + Pokemon = awesome.

Hey, the beam sword got a new look, and this time it's even more likely to draw attention from George Lucas' lawyers.

There’s a character named Ness who has appeared in the Smash Bros. series up until now
Aww, I think Ness is gone... :(
  • edited November 2007
    That blows.
  • edited November 2007
Hersey! It doesn't mean Ness isn't in.
  • edited November 2007
Yeah, I think it pretty much does. They're trying to let us off easy, but every time they've talked about Lucas, they brush off Ness' past appearances in the series.

    DON'T CRUSH MY DREAMS!

Anyway, we have rising molten liquids in Samus' level.

    AGAIN.

You dropped your Pit avatar again.
  • edited November 2007
    Well, I'll fix that.
This is harder than I anticipated.
I didn't know I'd have to go to February!
  • edited November 2007
Maybe I should pick up Sin and Punishment. I've heard good things.

By the way, no Zora Armor or Magic Armor costumes= PHAIL.

Also, I've decided to stick with Dark Link cause he's more badass.
