I sewed that thing for Wearable Art Awards. It's Cindy Klassen's Olympic medals, but in a little bikini superhero outfit. I call it the Cindy C-Cup.

I was watching Ringu with Chinese subtitles with a girl from my gym today. I was listening in Japanese and talking with her in Chinese.

Eventually my brain popped and my conversation would turn to a horrible Japanese/Chinese hybrid without intense concentration on one language.

Either way, any day I use three separate languages is a day of awesome success for me.

That's cool. I wish I knew how to make cool stuff... Not necessarily sew cool stuff, but you know, yeah..

I finally got around to trying a bunch of different Web Browsers (Finally decided I was stuck in a rut with IE). The Web Browsers I downloaded/already had were:
    1. Internet Explorer
    2. Google Chrome
    3. Opera
    4. Mozilla Firefox
    5. Safari
    6. Flock
I found that I really like Opera! Success!

Success! I got some Axe bodywash and today was the first day I used it and I smelled fantastic!

    Axe smells terrible.
  • edited April 2009
Axe smells pretty good, when it's not abused. Too much of any smell is bad news.
  • edited April 2009
Spray axe is generally what first comes to mind, because the smell is awful and easy to remember and you can instantly recognize it. The air within boy's locker room at my school is composed of, I'm estimating, 50% axe. You can't be in there for more than two minutes.
  • edited April 2009
I swear that stuff reeks! If I'm anywhere near the boy’s locker room I have to hold my breath.

In success related news: I just realized that there is only two months of school left for me. Quite frankly I'm surprised that my soul hasn't been completely crushed by the monotony yet!

Rest assured, when you get to college, you will never have to complain of any monotony during the last 2 months of any semester.

Axe is called Lynx in the UK.

Therefore you shall call it Lynx.

And while Africa is the best Lynx, Old Spice is the best deodorant ever. Trufax.

I think pretty much all perfume/cologne smells awful. I'm somewhat in agreement about it being fine as long as you don't use too much on the condition that "too much" is defined as "if I can smell it at all, it's too much."

This man is intelligent. Young children would be wise to heed his advice.

Old Spice is definitely the best deodorant, at least of the ones I've tried.
  • edited April 2009
When you said Old Spice, I wanted to Google it to see what it smells like, but quickly realized that it was impossible :(

I will be in the drug store at 8am tomorrow, before work, sniffing men's deodorant.

Old Spice is the best. It's what real men use.

Whenever I think of Old Spice I think of Paul Bunyan. I think that's a success.

Another success being I just got a 90 on my Nucleic Acids final! Hooray for me!

I'm posting from the Steam browser while paying a game of Warcraft 3 (Final Fantasy Epic RPG), in which I am level 286. Awesome... maybe not so much success... but awesome.

I forgot to post about this yesterday. So yesterday, driving to my first job I saw something quite awesome. A man in a banana suit ran across the street and nearly got hit by a car, he was so scared his hands flew up. He was using his hands to hold up his pants which then fell down as he reached the sidewalk.
  • edited April 2009
    whaaaaat!

But if he was wearing a banana suit, how was he wearing pants??
  • edited April 2009
The banana part curved forward and was open about teh waste. It didn't cover his ass. He had green pants that i can only assume were part of the outfit.

I love how the success is watching a man in a banana suit fail miserably at crossing a street, and not about you driving to your first job :)

I am currently downloading the Portal Flash Map Pack, which is 40 maps based on the maps from the Flash version of Portal. Not only that but I am also currently downloading MDK one and two, good stuff indeed!!!

He means first job as in, the first event in the workday of a job he has been doing for a while now. Not quite "awesome success".
  • edited April 2009
ohhhhhhh........That's what she meant. No, driving to my first bit of misery of the day, I saw something that made me laugh so hard I nearly crapped myself.

I just got done reading EVERY SINGLE STRIP of Irregular Webcomic. 2272 strips as of today. That definitely counts for awesome success.:takethat:

A new dumpling restaurant just opened in my residential park! I can now get a big bowl of delicious dumplings in soup for a dollar. That's my whole dinner. They deliver, and they are a 30 second walk from my building.
