That's just sad because I thought all of y'all were more mature than this! I am very disappointed in every one of you!:takethat:

I feel I must apologise profusely for being even remotely like this character when I was younger.

    Spyro:
    • Wrote an awful webcomic that Night Lord wrote the best out of it's, what, three episode span, and that episode made fun of Spyro, anyway.
    • Created two threads purely for yelling at people.
    • Created another thread that he led off topic, only to yell at everyone for being off-topic
    • Was bipolar
    • Was eight and was evidence of possibly one of the most careless parental upbringings of all time.
    • And, as far as I know, sent random hate E-mails to Mario, Stef, MJC, and Night Lord with content mostly of foul language.

Spyro, however, did not have seizures causing him to randomly place smilies in random places all over his text. You don't have to use smilies. I haven't ever used one on this forum.

You're not off to a good start, pickle. Don't make it any worse.

I sent you a PM detailing some of the finer points of the unwritten Orange Belt code a while back, make sure to read it.

See? Now you get it! It's like cards! All you have to do is put a facade to mask your real personality, and pull off your semblance of intelligence well enough that we don't become raging monsters with the intent to eat your scalp!

This thread (or its last page, to be fair) isn't neither awesome nor a SUCCESS.
  • edited April 2009
I think it is time for everyone to get back on topic. This IS a thread where you post any awesome success you may have had recently. Anyway, I have beaten some of the levels in SSBB's adventure mode, Subspace Emissary on Hard difficulty if that counts for awesome success;)

Last night I played Team Fortress 2 and Left4Dead with all the graphical settings MAXED OUT and no lag whatsoever.

My new computer is a success.

I am a computer nerd, especially in regard to hardware. I must know the details of your computer. I am also willing to share the details of my own computer.

I wonder if I should create a new thread for this? Discussion about building computers and all that. Any interest in this?

I made a new thread where you post funny stuff that happened to you at school if that counts for awesome success. Don't forget to check it out everyone.

I am in total support of this. I am seriously considering learning to build my own computer in the near future, because computer parts are dirt cheap here.

That's just the answer I was hoping for sir. I'll probably hold off until this weekend. It's a significant area of my interest and I figure I'll be thorough about it. If I'm feeling saucy I might try and find a camera.

I played piano properly for the first time in about two years today.

I discovered that despite playing bass regularly, my fingers have become atrophied at the ivories, and now they hurt, but I still remember my repertoire!

I say that's not real pinano playin. Just playing a melodic tune on the piano is like plucking a string on a guitar and saying you can play guitar.

One time when I was bored I did try to figure out the Dungeon Theme in Zelda II. I've never had too rigorous a training in piano though, so it never got anywhere. I decided a few months ago, I want to learn how to play the piano (seriously) before I die. I think I'd be good enough! It's probably really awesome for your brain too since you're working with both your left hemisphere and your right hemisphere rigorously at the same time. I wants to be smahter den now.

I WAS JUST THINKING THE EXACT SAME THING. In fact, I just said it in a reply to the youtubin' thread.

I really have always wanted to learn to play the piano, but never tried (except for being in lessons for two months in which I learned almost nothing). But recently I started wishing I could play again. I remembered that a friend of mine used to have a neighbor who had to be at least in his seventies who lived alone and who would play the piano every afternoon, but really play it you know? Concertos, Vivaldi, Rachmaninoff, all the cool dead composers. It seemed like he really enjoyed himself, and I thought, hey I'd like to be able to do that... If one day I live all alone to be able to play beautiful music and not be a just a boring old man. I think I'm kind of rambling, the thing is I really want to play the piano.

Mish, I say we challenge ourselves, get some cheap keyboards and start trying to learn off the intarwebz and when we are in an acceptable level (read: not 100% suck) get real lessons.

I just got back from a school trip to go see Lewis Black. He was even better than I was expecting. I'm a big fan and all his material was brand new. Great success!

If you just play the part you played in the game, then yeah, it isn't. It's more fun to play a full version, like the windmill theme (which is the elongated, full song of storms) or the Lost Woods Theme (which is the entire Saria's song). Adding inverted chords for the left hand of D Harmonic Minor to the Requim of Spirit works wonders. I also use some D harmonic scales when I play the Requim of spirit, because the D harmonic sounds so wonderfully Middle Eastern, deserty. The Ocarina rhythms can form a base to a grand masterpiece.
