Hey! He has Demon's Souls and... and... and the Blu-ray!

Listen, I own all three consoles, I am a professional gamer. I haven't touched my Wii in god knows how long, my PS3 occasionally gets some play whenever my friends want to play MGO or MAG, but I'm on my Xbox every damn day, playing a wide variety of games, and talking to my friends through a well provided online chat system. I understand that there are people who play the Wii and PS3 constantly, and I truly feel sorry for them, because those consoles just don't have good third party and online support. Hell, I even watch tv on my damn xbox through the use of Netflix. It's just an incredibly well rounded entertainment system, and anyone who chooses a different console over it is just plain retarded.

PS3 means i'm better than you.

Oh my god, well provided? (haha)

The one time i was like on an xbox and in a party it totally was dropping us like constantly. It was terrible, the sound was bejebus awful, also like, who wants to listen to 16 year old boys grind their gross little penors against a mic while they jack off to that guilty gear rip-off blazblue? It's like, totally disgusting or something. Xbox has a terrible community and most of the good games on it are also on my glorious PS3~! :3

Are you really going to resort to 4chan memes in a discussion of the merits of the different consoles?
  • edited July 2010
    what memes

No, they just might have different tastes, personally the PS3 is the freaking coolest console ever (not just for the games either), and while it didn't have games when it came out, it's got a fair selection now.
PS3 means i'm better than you.

Those are movies Johnny, games are slightly more interactive then that.

I was referring to the 'no games', but I kinda missed your bigger post so I guess you weren't being serious. So disregard that.

Wow, I say I'm playing flash games and I practically get disemboweled.
  • edited July 2010
Apple hates flash, therefore around 50% of the computer savvy society hates you.

Edit: By the way, I just mauled a Protoss player in SC2 with an army of 40 battlecruisers. Half of them got killed, I rebuilt them all in a jiffy.
  • edited July 2010
Never played SC before (don't hurt me!).

'Tis fine, though I recommend watching some pro league games, whether you like RTS's or not you'll be wildly entertained.

Anyways, it was mostly awesome because he was waiting to attack me while his army built up, and I was doing the same. He finally just said "Let's finish this." and I moved my army out from my secret base right below his. Blew up his base then and there. He didn't see it coming even though he knew I was about to attack. And it was hilarious too, cause he was so confident he would kick my ass.

I love RTS games. In South Korea(?) people train for hours so they can be the best.

I'll be sure to look up some vids.
  • edited July 2010
In Korea Starcraft is a national sport man. They have teams and sponsors and everything. It goes way past training for hours.

After finishing Suikoden with 108 stars, I started Suikoden 2. Man... I forgot how dark it is, and how much they improved from the first game.
  • edited August 2010
Let me know how badass McDohl turns out to be in tandem with 2's hero.
  • edited August 2010
What is your opinion of Suikoden III, IV, and V?
  • edited August 2010
3 is ok, but the rest are weaksauce.

    I don't want an Xbox, I'm getting a PS3. :D

    Don't. I'm not even kidding.
Mine right now is a Netflix player and a facebook/news/weather checker for when I don't feel like getting out of bed.

Man, the PS3 is awesome, if the kid wants a PS3 let him get it. It has most all the same games as the 360 and a bunch of exclusives, it really just depends what type of games you like. Seriously, I use mine all the time, for everything, just because you guys don't use it doesn't mean everyone won't.
  • edited August 2010
Never said not everyone would use it, just implying that in my opinion it's a terrible investment for the money. The only thing I would miss if I sold my Ps3 and picked up and xbox (Which for the record I wouldnt) is MGS4, So I'm just giving my analysis of sony's black box. :P

PS3 also has Demon's Souls and Valkyria Chronicles. It has White Knight Chronicles, a special edition of Star Ocean: The Last Hope, and a few other JRPGs. LittleBigPlanet too. Xbox also has exclusives, and they're nice, but I like the PS3 exclusives a bit better. It also plays BluRays. It also has built in internet no matter how old a version you have. And the controller comes with a built-in rechargeable battery.

You're neglecting a lot of variables here... not having exclusives you're crazy about doesn't negate all the positives.

And since both consoles are the same price now, I really don't think you can say one is so amazingly better than the other that a person would be stupid to buy X instead of Y.

    I lol'd.

One of the main reasons we're getting a PS3 rather than an Xbox is the fact that we won't have to pay exorbitant amounts of money every month to get online play.

I really want a PS3, but because I am a working man I really only have time for one timesink, and that is still wow. I also just got SCII, which is going to cut into my wow time even more, but under the grand scheme of time dedicated to Blizzard, it's about the same.

Yeah, I hear ya; the only reason I havent Bought SC2 is because I have a steam account full of great games, and all I play is still WoW.

Also, about the PS3 thing, Get what you want, doesn't affect me. Just telling you, If I was going to Best Buy with a few hundred bucks, Wouldn't buy a Ps3.
  • edited August 2010
Who goes to Best Buy? </trolling>

Indeed. I also wouldn't get a PS3. Entirely because I already have one and it's working fine.
On an X-Box related note, the forge for Halo: Reach still looks amazing.

    You know what's amazing? SCII.

Ryan, you gotta give me your e-mail so I can real ID friend ya.

You pay 50 bucks a year, and if you can't afford that, then I don't know what the hell is wrong with you.
  • edited August 2010
What if he wants to use that 50 bucks a year for cooler things?
  • edited August 2010
Yeah! I could use it for, like, cheese. CHEESE man.
