I'm completely an absolutely poor and I can afford 50 bucks a year. That's literally little more than 4 bucks a month. If you can't scrape up enough quarters for 4 bucks a month, then you don't even deserve xbox live. Also stop being all lol randum xD it's so fucking unfunny that I want to high kick you right into the side of your head.
I don't have it right now. Is there any sort of consideration for lan play? Is there a nice editor? Will the be piles of custom maps verging into different genres much in the fashion of Warcraft III? I may buy it at some point, but I haven't traditionally liked the blizzard RTS games for anything but the custom maps. Their single player and standard rts play has never excited me.
Custom maps are already being made into different genres. The editor is just as good if not better the WC3's so it shouldn't be an issue. Online play is great, but LAN play doesn't exist. The main issue with it being abuse of the ranked modes. However it can't be that hard to set up a private custom game and just join in if you absolutely must play in the same room, and their matchmaking system works perfectly well in conjunction with their party system.
From what I saw (Not much) of the editor, it's basically the WC3 editor, but polished up a bit and with the absence of WC3's hero system.
So yes, lots of different genres of custom game and such. I don't see RPGs moving from WC3 though, as the hero system is just tons better for them; Probably get a few though.
Edit: It has come to my attention that the DOTA games on SC2 use Levels and Skills similar to the WC3 version; I don't particularly trust my source for this, but I dunno why that would be something to lie about. Whether that's something inherently in the editor or if it was coded by the map creators is probably better answered by people that actually have this game.
Has anyone else tried playing an N64 FPS recently? I had a craving for some Goldeneye so I fired up the emulator. Much to my chagrin, I simply CAN'T function anymore. The buttons that get assigned to movement and looking are all screwed up. One stick allows you to look up and down and strafe. The other moves you forward and back and lets you look left and right. I even tried messing with the controller mapping, and got something that actually works (i.e. look on one stick and move on another) but then targeting gets fucked up because the X axis is on the left stick and the Y axis is on the right.
So, anyone know of a way to make it so I can play these damn games again?
I don't have an N64 anymore. Long ago I traded it in for a PS1.
But even if I did, I don't think it would be any easier. They mapped the look and move commands to the SAME STICK. How the hell did we manage back in the day?
Well, the C buttons kinda acted like a four-direction stick in a way. That was a precursor to two-stick movement, since (I thought) the C buttons moved you and the stick let you look. But apparently I was mistaken, because I tried playing Turok 2 a few months ago and had the same problem.
I'm just confused because switching from one stick to two stick didn't give me any problems, but now trying to switch back to one stick is nearly impossible for me. I feel like it shouldn't be that bad, especially since I'm using a PS3 controller and I can turn the C buttons into a stick.

That was one of the options in Jet Force Gemini. Man, I hope Rare remakes that for the 360 soon. That was my favorite game from the N64 that wasn't made by Nintendo.

Edit: Holy commas, Batman!
Who has it?
The only things I'm waiting for really are Diablo 3 and Dead Rising 2.
