Yeah, I'm thinking that future retro unlcokables should come in the form of Virtual Console channels. A nice integration with the Wii infrastructure.
Oh! A tangent. Future games that make use of scheduled events (Pokémon, Animal Crossing, etc.) should send update messages through the Wii messaging system, so you'd see e-mails from your mom or Tom Nook alongside the other messages. The Wii calendar could also be put to good use in this manner. An even nicer integration with the Wii infrastructure!

I'm pretty sure Nintendo said they wanted to do stuff like this.
I have solved that problem by not getting a Wii. If my willpower fails me I may get one come the end of the month. Then I will grow extra sad when I remember that I don't have my own tv to hook it to. I will be like Cartman in that one episode of South Park. Except that I'm not fat. And there will be no otters involved.
I know at least a few people (Geoff) are still looking for a Wii (A testament to their success? A sign that Nintendo needs to ramp up production? You make the call), so I figured I'd send on this notice from Wii Fanboy that various stores including Toys R Us and Best Buy will have units on Sunday. Show up early, and good luck!

No really, I yawned just before posting here. The weekend can't come soon enough.
Square Enix went right out of the gate with the best game either company ever made. So awesome.
Super Smash Bros Brawl is coming in June anyway.
Ooh, wouldn't it be awesome if the N64 game was an unlockable feature in Super Smash Bros. Brawl?
Or, even better, if by buying the game you get a free copy of Super Smash Bros. on the Virtual Console. That'd rock too!

Where'd you hear this? Last I checked it was still TBA.
Yup. Still TBA. I KNOW THESE THINGS.It's not like I check IGN every friggin' day to see if the date is up yet...
Whenever I wake up, I excitedly look out for a lit drive, and if it's not lit up, I feel kind of sad
