    Souless, godless doll's eyes....

I always found the game somewhat mediocre...

The controls weren't all that great, as I remember. I couldn't get used to it.

The only boss I've always thought was impossible was Mizar from Jet Force Gemini.

To this day I still haven't been able to beat that sonuvabitch.

I'd like to get a Wii just for the new Zelda game, but I don't have the $$$.

I've played Twilight Princess on the GameCube, it plays pretty well.

It should play well on the GameCube, considering that the Wii version is a port of the GameCube version.

From what I've read, the Wii version's controls make it superior. As it stands, I don't think bits such as the armoured knight in the temple of time (best fight in the game), would be as fun just mashing the B button

Of course fighting a Darknut wouldn't be fun just by mashing the B button. It's not fun just by shaking the remote around, either. You have to use other moves or you're going to get your ass kicked.

Oh, I did. I used the Back slice mostly, and whenever he missed me, I just gave him a few whacks before he could pull his sword loose.

I am finally typing from my WII!

EDIT: And now I'm typing from my computer! Go technology!

Some people here need to try to beat Snake Rattle and Roll. I have a hypothesis that it cannot, in fact, be done. If you are REALLY good you can get to the final boss thing. I've managed it without cheating twice (I own the cartridge). As for actually beating that boss, I believe I tried cheating via game genie and still was unable to defeat it.

Snake, Rattle and Roll is on Virtual Console? I thought Rare made that game! Does this (dare I say) open the doors for Jet Force Gemini on the Wii? Because I'd pick up that game in a heartbeat.

Just as long as we don't get any of Rare's not-so-great games, like Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

    Are you kidding?

    I don't think so.

-I like Jet Force Gemini, and would gladly pick up the game on Virtual Console.
-I was genuinely curious about Snake, Rattle & Roll's Virtual Console status (but found it wasn't there shortly after making the post).
-Who Framed Roger Rabbit was one of the worst NES games ever made. And Rare made it. In one part, you had to tell a joke (multiple-choice, choose wisely!) so the weasels would laugh hard enough for you to escape.

Snake Rattle and Roll is not on the Wii. Sorry for that, I was just meaning that it is freakin hard.

Wuzzat? Did you say "Jet Force Gemini" instead of "Goldeneye 007"? Holy shit, you might be the first and only person ever to give a game other than Goldeneye 007. Congratulations.

I agree on the Jet Force Gemini front, a sequel on the 360 would make me pick one up in a heartbeat. Actually, I'm probably going to pick up a 360 for Banjo Threeie at the very least.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit was such a crappy game, but I played it so much when I was younger. The few tiimes I actually got to the final boss I got my ass handed to me on a platter, that boss fight is nearly impossible.

The game did little justice to the excellent movie it's based on.

Anyone else realize the fact that Wii Point Cards are just as hard to find now as the Wii itself? I want to buy A Link to the Past....
  • edited February 2007
I'm glad to see someone else is having the same problem I did! I recommend either convincing a family member to get you the points via Shop Channel or go to Wal-Mart's site and order one via their Site to Store option, which will ship the item to a Wal-Mart of your choice once it's available. Then just go pick it up once they get it. Quick and easy.

Well, this will also require a credit card of some sort, so I don't know how easy this will be for you. Good luck!

    You can't buy points online?

We're not going to get any of Rare's awesome licensed properties, like Beetlejuice, because of the license.

The door is WIDE OPEN for Taboo: the Sixth Sense.

I trust no other game for my mysticism-related needs!

Nope, no problem buying Wii Points for me. Well, besides that I have to buy fixed amounts. But I always just go direct. However, I don't think I've actually seen a points card in a store.
  • edited February 2007
    Tonnes of 'em over here.

    STILL NO FREAKING NUNCHUCKS HOWEVER!
  • edited February 2007
I bought a points card in Target once, but that was a while ago. Come to think of it, I haven't seen them around.

Buying them direct through Wiishop is much easier, anyway. I just use my debit card.
  • edited February 2007
I know it's easier, and do it myself at times. This time, however, it wasn't an option, as I was attempting to purchase one as a gift for someone else.

Luckily, I got one, so hopefully they'll be receiving it soon.

Nintendo should do like itunes, wherein you can purchase points for someone on your friends list. Much easier.

I absolutely agree. Also, there shouldn't be tax on Wii Points Cards. That's just crazy.
