Seriously guys, stop promoting software piracy. I'm not going to judge whether or not you do pirate software, but don't enable others to do it. That's called "breaking the law".

Ah sorry dude, I won't do it again.

    *Whacks self*

    Get GIMP.

    *goes off to edit.*

I liked your old avatar Ryoga.

Pay heed children, lest you have an irritating rapper berate YOU! Don't copy that...Pirated...download...link... Kinda loses something when updated to modern technology.

And you get angry when people get off-topic...

And really, get Teh GIMP, it'll make you comic better.
  • edited July 2006
I think i'll download The GIMP, see what it's all about and the differences from Photoshop.
And thanks, I don' know, Mr. Curry is cool. I'll think about it, maybe next time i'll do someone besides Magical Trevor.

Edit: Happy? *looks to avatar* now we can get back on 'Topic'

There is also a mod that makes the GIMP's interface more similar to Photoshops.

Is Majora part of the dream, or is he still there?

Wow, this guy is banned after two posts? Those two posts aren't anything bad, so I'm guessing this is spyro after getting banned the first time. Do I win the grand prize?
  • edited July 2006
He did say he just finished watching 'Nightmare Before Christmas'. Kinda obvious.
  • edited July 2006
I don't pay attention to this thread since I blew my stack. I came back to see what Night Lord was telling me about spyro coming up with even more excuses after I left.
  • edited July 2006
Well I think he said it on Inksandwich, where he's also not exactly popular.
  • edited July 2006
That was the old forums before Stef and mario had a falling out with the guy in charge and created The Orange Belt, right?
  • edited July 2006
    Yes. Something like that.
  • edited July 2006
Hmm. What's going on? Spyro was banned...twice? Whatever, not my problem. Anyways, I guess his topic about his comics has turned into a topic about getting banned. Anyways, what was it that banned him? the creating of the "Off Topic" topic, or just him being himself.
  • edited July 2006
Just being himself, because mario said he split spyro's post into that new topic to try and salvage his comic discussion topic.
  • edited July 2006
There were further complications outside of the forum. He didn't want to play nice, so I made him leave.

As far as obviousness goes: if you get banned and decide to secretly create a new user, don't put the banned username as your referrer. ^_^
  • edited July 2006
    Wow, that's pretty damn stupid.
  • edited July 2006
Haha. I checked his profile to see if he kept his age in there too, but he at least didn't do that.

I saw one guy on a forum once make a complete ass of himself. So, he created a new user name similar to his old one. Had the same birthdate and age listed in both profiles.

On second thought, please do. It makes it easier for the admins to keep you the hell out. Thank you for your cooperation. ;)

I had someone on my forum do the same thing with their birthday, though. I love how they think they're hiding.

Then there's the people that just add some sort of punctuation onto their name and don't think they'll be banned again.

"Ha! I'm back! What are you gonna do NOW?!"

    ...

    BANNED
  • edited July 2006
I think the best ban evasion I ever saw was a person named Hythe. He created another username called "NotHythe."
  • edited July 2006
I saw a guy create another account just to say he was banned. Or something like that.

I did that once on an IRC channel so that I could ask why I'd been banned in the first place.

...Could we stop going off-topic regarding a user who was banned because he defiantly went off-topic? I'm not saying I ban people just because they stray from the normal conversation, but this was Spyro7000's comic thread. Since he's not going to maintain it anymore, it's probably better we let the thread fade into the background.

I understand that this thread has sort of faded into oblivion now... but by chance if Spyro does happen to check the thread on someone else's account or something I have some stuff to say. :)

After reading some of your earlier comics, I can say that your style has drastically improved. If you're still using MS Paint, I respect you a lot. That thing annoys me to pieces.

Too bad about your file type problems. I hope you get them resolved, because I understand that it's not your fault at all but blurry comics can be a bit harsh on the eyes to read. It's something I hate, just like playing games with crappy graphics.

Not everyone's a comedian, and I respect that. You come up with some good punchlines though, and your characters are well-represented. Good work and continue with the comic. :D

Does anyone care about/want to see my comic? I'm already 6 episodes into it. It might not be the best on the planet, but hey.
