You're welcome, but if you wanted to end a flame war why did you specifically call me alone an "obnoxious attention seeker?" Regardless of your opinion of me it only provokes continuation of argument which is contrary to your opening sentence.

Ignoring my continuous battle....am I the only one with a real profile picture? Also-new comic coming tonight.

You look sorta like my annoying second cousin if he were five years younger and grew a lot of hair.

Also...looking back at Nuki's old thread was pretty sweet. I got to see what a lot of people looked like. Last night I had a dream all of the OB people went on a roadtrip. I remeber Stef was driving, and Mario was in the passenger's seat. I think Amoeba Boy was next to me...X 'o' Lore was behind me (I dreamt up what he looked like). Meh...maybe I should have put this in the Dream Thread. Nah...

Hmmm. I'm kinda tall and pretty thin, I've got a bit of a small festy beard mostly on my chin and a mustache to match, and I look like I just got out of bed 24/7. I don't have a camera, and people have taken pictures of me only to get errors on the memory card that destroyed specifically the pictures of me and no others. And I'm not reflected in mirrors or some junk like that.

And I'm assuming people are instantly blinded whenever they look in your general direction.

    hm....maybe turned to stone?

Heh, you look like my brother did when he was younger.

I don't put my picture in my profile because then people would know that I am a girl. ^__^
  • edited October 2006
You turned to stone when you looked at your brother?
  • edited October 2006
No, being the sibling of a gorgon would make me one myself, right?
  • edited October 2006
or your adopted oh wait that wasn't suposed to be said

Wow, you look like you lept right out of the Partridge Family. I suppose I should start watching my language.

    Drat!

*Note to self and anyone who wants to drive in the future* Driving is not worth the hours of 6-9 for three weeks....driving classes that is

Anyways, I propose we end the flaming war. I admit, I acted like a total ass and I could have been a bit nicer with my critisism, I will do so from now on. Bad things were said from everyone, (me mostly) and I really don't like flaming wars. I got a bit zealous with my words/critisisms. So if everyone is cool with it, i'm sorry, let's start anew.

    Latest Comic:
Defineately showing improvement, something I noticed was the bow in the last panel. It was drawn back a bit far, and she was holding it far up. It's not something that's critical, but I just noticed it. (This must be odd coming from me huh?) Anyways, keep it up. I can see a difference from first to now.

I assume people lie. This assumption gives the benefit of the doubt that people have taste. I cannot express my disappointment.

Oh, so now we have no taste because we like these comics? God, what the hell is your problem? I don't care if you don't like them yourself, but you're really out of line by trying to insult all the fans.

C'mon now, give Agentcel his thread back.

I've gone to the dojo and improved my game. I'm happy with this comic...took me 2 hours to finish. >.< Heres ya go!

... Resisting urge to rip Paper Steet a new one for his last comment...

I notice that Link has his hat on his head again. Wasn't he using that to stop his arm from bleeding? But yay, mystery cloaked figure! Oh, and if you can, erase the section of the text boxes that go into the tail. Yano, like you did in the last comic.

Okay, now that I'm "pointing out techincal errors" mode, I noticed this too... Dark Link pulls the Master Sword out of himself... I thought evil beings couldn't touch the Master Sword, which is why Ganondorf had to have Link pull it out in the game.

It seems that your art starts out good in the first panels, but then gradually gets worse as you reach the end. Case in point, I really like the first panel of link in this last comic, but the final panel doesn't really look realistic. Especially the shading under the hood. I'm no good at art myself, so I can't tell you how to improve it, but perhaps someone else could.

Isn't the last panel in the imaginary space of Link's head? I don't see a lack of realism as being wholly troublsome there. It's lookin' good, and now the story is genuinely interesting too, with this latest turn of events.

Indeed. I thought that dark spoton that character's face was hair. Just one question from me though, what do you mean by "conscience"? Inside his head? Or his actual moral guiding force (whcih would also be in his head, but let's not split hairs).

-Well..I thought about that too, but the "Link" is a visual metaphor for Link's ideas, so I drew him as he normally looks. Kind of getting into that whole "soul" thing. But then again, if I wanted to be more picky, I could have drawn him naked. But that would be disturbing.

I might remove that shadow actually-I was trying to get less shading in there, because I wanted to add drama to the picture. (artistic drama-extreme contrast.)

Inside his head. Hate to make a Nickolodeon reference, but sort of like the Fairly OddParents episode with Timmy's imaginary friend.

EDIT, YO: Fixed the text boxes and removed that ugly shadow.

I feel artsy tonight. I drew a picture of Refia from Final Fantasy III:

I need to make another page soon...

You seem to have a bit of trouble with perspective and shading, since her nose seems to be almost nonexistent, and also, her face has an odd proportion.
  • edited November 2006
I don't know, I thought it was pretty good. I haven't played FFIII yet, however (I assume we're talking about the actual III and not FFVI not that I've played that one either), so I'm not familiar with this "Refia" character.

It's stylized! Don't make people conform into your box of what drawings should look like! You're so judgemental, Mario.
  • edited November 2006
What? mario said it was good. It was Night Lord who made the other comments. Why do you keep confusing us with each other? This is the second time you've done this...
  • edited November 2006
You don't have to defend him, MJC. Mario's been super rude to far too many people for far too long. We can't keep ignoring it.
