This is what I get for not having played SNES Final Fantasy games, I suppose!

Final Fantasy 3 was for NES! Will your reign of terror never end?!
  • edited November 2006
Actually it was for the Famicom, since it was Japan-only.
  • edited November 2006
But it's out for the Nintendo DS now, not that I'd bother with it.

I know FFIII was for Famicom and now DS. I was just sayin', I've never played an SNES Final Fantasy. And the only NES one I've played was the original. So there!

Whatever you say, mario. I'm still trying to figure out why John keeps confusing us all with each other...

Quiet, you fool! He's doing it on purpose! And every time you express bewilderment he is drawn to do it more! He feeds on discord, fear and panic, you see. The fiend!
  • edited November 2006
That's the talk of someone who's never even tried discord. Trust me, once you've had discord, you'll never go... biscord.
  • edited November 2006
MJC is right. Biscord is lame compared to discord.

Hey, if anyone wants my Final Fantasy III Mognet code I'd be happy to give it to you.

Oh. I see. I was starting to wonder if maybe he enjoyed the taste of paint chips, but I guess discord can be tasty too (not that I can testify to the tastiness of paint chips, seeing as how I've never eaten them).

Hey I played FF3 recently (did a solo character run). Not on the DS, but a translated NES version. I do not recognize that character either. I'm pretty sure that name is not in the version I played.
  • edited November 2006
If it's one of the main characters, they didn't have names in the original. You started out with all 4 in the original, too.
  • edited November 2006
Wait, you have characters in the DS version? And you don't start with all of them? They are ruining the whole feel of the game! There is nothing quite like having one generic hero dragging 3 dead level 1 toads/onion knights everywhere he goes. I casted toad on them before burning them because it was more amusing (and presumably lighter).
  • edited November 2006
Well, you get all of them with in the first five minutes of playtime. And yes, draging around a bunch of dead allies is fun. Thank God for Phoenix Downs, because in this game, inns won't revive dead players! It is a rather hard game...but I'm already half-way through it.

I promise, I'll stop procrastinating and make another page...tomarrow! But here's a drawing to tide you over.

If it's the Zora Armor from TP, and Midna is in the corner, why did you put "DS" in the bottom left corner?

Maybe it's his initials? Like, David Sanders? I should start calling him that.

    Dmitri Schrodenov!

It's for Dark Sheik my user name on Indie Zelda

EDIT: Oh dear....I've forgotten to make a page once again. >.> <.<

Eh...screw it. I'm too lazy to keep putting off making comics. To be continued for now.

But I'll keep posting pictures here, as to not needlessly make another thread.
Here's the one and only Dr.Stiles!

And I downsized it to make a sprite!

EDIT: And feel free to give me some "crits" as we interwebz artists like to call 'em.

Actually This one is remarkably good. Although it doesn't really shrink down into the avatar size the best. From a design perspective, the red text is a bit tough to read...
  • edited January 2007
Wow, that's pretty good downsizing-into-sprite-iness if I do say so myself.
  • edited January 2007
I think you ought to use some other text than Times New Roman, a nice sans serif, perhaps.
  • edited January 2007
Such as comic sans MS...? Or more in the Blam Bot font area?
  • edited January 2007
You should have written it with huge pixels.
  • edited January 2007
comic sans MS is horribly, horribly overused. Nevermind that I use it as my default AIM font.
  • edited January 2007
I would say more along the line of verdana, helvetica, or futura, maybe gil sans.

the forum default font is alright aswell, I'm not sure what it is though, play around and see what looks best.
  • edited January 2007
I think it's Arial (One of my favourites).

I believe I speak for us all when I say: pwned.
