The hooves and boot look a bit weird, but the rest is fine!
  • edited April 2007
Ha, by the way, if you type in "horse" on Google Search, I bet you can find my reference photo!

...You're setting yourself up for disaster, AC.
  • edited April 2007
    *facepalm*

    I didn't think of that.

EDIT: Surprise! New project in the works! I'll scan in some sketchs later, but I've got page one pretty much done:

    agentcelpageonefg8.png

It's going to be about secret agents. I've been wanting to do this for a while now. That is all.

You have the same nose as my best friend's sister!

I demand a real-life photo of you for comparative purposes!

Took me long enough. I cut my hair since last time, by the way.

You don't look as young as I remember you looking. And allow me to be the first to compliment you on your manly chin!

The comic looks good, for whatever reason I chuckle at the image of secret agents googling things.

I was right. You look like my best friend's sister. I don't know if that's worse for you or her....
  • edited April 2007
Her, obviously. There's nothing girly about that ruggedly masculine clef in his chin!
  • edited April 2007
I have chin of girl :(

But the ferret of a man!

I'd say that your best friend sister looks like a man.

But then again, so do most Brits.

Another Espeon drawing in celebration of my new Espeon!

That Espeon has a cray-zay hat.

    Seems kinda really blurry.
  • edited May 2007
It is blurry. It might be a good picture, but it makes my eyes hurt so I can't tell for sure.
  • edited May 2007
I usually blur a lot when I'm going for a realistic look. It's sort of a style thing.

I learned that style from Mewkitty, who used to be the Webmistress for Mew's Hangout until it shut down.
  • edited May 2007
I think you're exaggerating it a little bit. Mewkitty uses solid outlines, at least.

Here's her DeviantArt. Plenty of good stuff, but I'm not seeing much blur, really.

I tried my hand at a Sprite Comic again. They're my custom sprites, I did them over the Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga sprites. Who knows if I'll ever continue this one.

    EDIT: It got shrunk! Nuts...

By the way, I'm using MS paint, just to prove a point, which I'm sure you can guess.

    Another sprite comic...

Another drawing from a while ago, made in GIMP:

I went "hlavco" and drew a background:

Wait, that's Sheik. You mean Zelda = Sheik?!?!?!

    OMG!
  • edited August 2007
Could someone trace over it to make it a solid black?

This is what levels in photoshop are for.

I read one of Night Lord's stories, so I wrote my own. Expect the worst, and hope for the best.
High school can be nerve-racking, especially for a freshman. Yet the first few days for Bruce were more troublesome than average. He had a new teacher that was giving him particular trouble.

He quickly recounted the classes that she taught and the odd things she wrote on his History quizzes.

On the quiz which was about the presidents, she had scribbled “3/2/82”. This was disturbing, this had been the first day of school at Panighetti High School, and Ms. Lono had known his birthday already.

For the second quiz, under his grade, she wrote “Chicago”. Bruce could not deduce how in the world she would know where his hometown was, when they were in a Kansas high school.

Lastly, and creepiest of all, on the back of his latest quiz, was his middle name, Steven, pushed in between where he had written his name.

Bruce did not tell anyone about this strange woman, because he didn’t want his father to worry, and his friends would think he was weird, which was definitely not what he needed right now. He was troubled, and short of an answer to this predicament.

“Hey! Bus is here! Run for it!” called his father from his room.

Bruce dashed out the door, with his peanut buttered bread still hanging from his mouth, his little sister Stephanie peering out through the window, waving goodbye.

Like the days before, he plopped down next to his best friend Andrew.

“Morning, Bruce!” Andrew greeted him with a heavy British accent, which was rare in Mid-Kansas.

“Hey, does Ms. Lono seem weird to you?” Bruce finally found it in him to bring up the subject.

“Nope, probably one of the nicest ones in my schedule, how come you ask?”

“Well, she’s somehow finding out personal information about me, and she writes it on my test”

Andrew stared for a moment, and then pondered this odd case.

“Maybe she’s got a thing for you, like one of those nuts you read about in the paper now and then” Andrew proposed.
“Yeah, I’m going to call the cops on her if she does it one more time!”

    The bus rolled onwards.

Sure enough, when Ms. Lono handed back his first test, on the back, it said, “Meet me after school at 6:00”.

Bruce had had it. As soon as he got home, he phoned the police. He worked with them to come up with a plan. Bruce would meet Ms. Lono at 6:00, like the test said. However, the police would be a few feet back, prepared to make an arrest.

6:00 came, and Bruce confidently strolled down to his History room, with a small camera tucked between his jacket and his scarf, and an alarm button in his pants pocket.

Mrs. Lono was waiting right at the door, and as soon as she saw him, she ran headlong for him and embraced him tightly.

    A few gunshots rang.

Bruce couldn’t believe it, they had really shot her in the back, and the blood was warm and wet on his hands. She collapsed to the ground, and she fought to say:

    “Goodbye, my son”

Wow, they're trigger happy, aren't they?

I have to admit that the story is rather disconcerting for me...
